The SFPD arrested 54-year-old Patrick Thompson at around 7 p.m., two hours after he allegedly stabbed the two women. Police say he faces two counts of attempted murder and two counts of elder abuse.
This was particularly egregious according to witness accounts. This anti-Asian violence can be directly traced to Trump’s “China Virus” remarks and attendant conspiracy theories regarding the origin of the pandemic.
