We spoke to numerous distraught children who don’t understand why they can’t talk to their parents, see their siblings at Donna, or get some fresh air.”
The crisis here is the lack of resources. Donna refers to the location at which these children are processed. The lack of resources was a direct result of four years of Trump administration policy.
